Window Of The Heart

Window Of The Heart:

There where You set me on that sunlight beach,
this warmth that caressed rosy cheeks,
in wonder and awe on that summers’ noon,
yes, let me remember this salty perfume
There, the same south wind that blew the air above me

Where You defined the ocean’s sandy shore site,
i want to be stored in words on the inside,
of an envelope that stood and stood and at night,
watch over waves that waters can cross,
this radiant diamond-shaped kite

There heartful thoughts still blow, now days and nights,
that same south wind that swept open the skies
Clear, broader, this becomes, in the vast boundary
carried away, where waits an expectancy
that lets me arrive, just under the stars above me
